Job Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and prepare metal components according to specifications. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate laser cutting machines - Inspect finished pieces for quality and accuracy - Perform basic maintenance on machines to ensure smooth operations - Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with laser equipment - Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines - Utilise hand tools, welders, and other equipment as needed for metal fabrication tasks Requirements: - Proficient in assembling and fabricating metal components - Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations - Ability to grind, weld, and work with sheet metal - Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machine issues - Familiarity with tooling and operating hand tools effectively Join our team as a Laser Operator and contribute to the precision manufacturing of metal components.
