About the Job Multitask Recruitment is seeking experienced Structural Steel Fabricators and MIG Welders to join a busy and well-established client in Clitheroe. If you're a skilled fabricator with experience in structural steel or heavy fabrication, take pride in producing high-quality work, and enjoy working in a fast-paced workshop environment, we'd like to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: • Fabricate structural steelwork and heavy steel components from engineering drawings. • Carry out high-quality MIG welding to industry standards. • Measure, mark out, cut, fit and assemble steelwork accurately. • Operate fabrication machinery, hand tools and workshop equipment safely and efficiently. • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and specification requirements. • Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines. What We're Looking For: • Proven experience in structural steel fabrication or heavy engineering. • Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. • Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team. • A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
